Tabbed Browser for IE: In IE 6

This surprised me a lot. You would think that Microsoft would be working on adding tabs to Internet Explorer 7.0 Beta1, but now they released a MSN Toolbar for Internet Explorer 6 adding the ability to open numerous Web pages within a single window, each selectable by a small tab at the top of the window. I hope this tabbed feature is different in IE 7 
because the tabs aren't as good as Firefox. Another bad feature of this tabbed browsing is that you have to install the MSN Search on your desktop and add the toolbar IE. It's about time Microsoft opened their eyes to what everyone wants: tabbed browsing. Opera, Firefox, Netscape, and other browsers have been offering this feature for a long time. Unlike Firefox that can launch a tab through the File button, the toolbar can only open a new tab by clicking a button on the toolbar. This is the first time in three years that Microsoft has released a major upgrade to it's Internet Explorer 6. Last month, Microsoft confirmed speculation that it would offer tabbed browsing in the upcoming IE 7. Microsoft was not immediately available to comment on the new toolbar.
